North Carolina
Property Type: New Construction

Welcoming, affordable multifamily rental units designed to enrich the lives of Charlotte’s lower-income seniors and veterans.

Project at a Glance

Eastway Crossings represents an opportunity to add quality, affordable senior housing to a gentrifying area currently struggling with rent affordability. The area surrounding the property is rapidly redeveloping; however, there is limited affordable senior housing.

The Mission

This project will provide long term-affordability and homes for seniors in East Charlotte.

The Partnership

Greystone Affordable Development is partnering with Urban Trends and Harmony Housing, a Greystone affiliated nonprofit owner and operator of affordable housing.

The People

The project will set aside units for the seniors (over 55 years old) and veterans population. Greystone Affordable Development received an award of 40 VASH vouchers to support the veteran population.
